Dr Tanya Lokot, Associate Professor at Dublin City University and Project Coordinator for MEDIATIZED EU, has given interviews with her analysis on the impact of the organization of the Ukrainian network in assuring a communications system that is less prone to use for control and disinformation, as well as less vulnerable to cyberattacks. In Wired, on the 1st of March, she was quoted assessing the resilience and reliability of the Ukrainian system, in contrast with attempts of centralizing control in Russia. The Times quotes her on the 27th of February in a story about cyberwarfare, and The New York Times conveys her comments on Russia’s crackdown on the Internet.
