Dr. Marcos Mayo-Cubero (Antonio de Nebrija University, UANE, Spain) published a new paper in June, in Communication & Society, titled “A multivariable analysis on news production in Spain: digital newsroom profile, polyvalent journalists and gender perspective”. The research adopted a multivariable approach by considering issues such as newsrooms’ sizes and gender distribution, and points to findings on news production organization and coverage, for instance, finding Politics as the main section.
