This series of summaries presents the results of different phases of research of MEDIATIZED EU, grouping all seven case-studies. The present issue summarises results of desk research, with a longitudinal overview of the available academic literature, policy developments and available data on the transformations of media discourses, elite views and public opinions of the EU and Europeanisation in each of the project countries. This research phase also identifies key trends that inform the stage of media analysis, covered in the next issue of the summaries.
